This stunner is Mooncake.
Mooncake was rushed to @vergbrooklyn after falling from an apartment window. Mooncake luckily didn’t suffer any fractures, but he had bruising on his lungs and a pneumothorax. Mooncake had a great shot in making it through but needed the help of an extended hospital stay and some time in oxygen. Around the clock care comes at high cost and Mooncake’s family needed help from @positivetails.
Their case was approved and Mooncake was reunited with his family a couple of days later, greatly improved.
Mooncake was lucky. Despite the rumor, cats do not always land on their feet and sometimes even a short fall could cause a lot of damage..so this is your reminder to make sure your screens are in securely.
