When Nino’s family contacted Positive Tails, nobody could figure out what was making him sick. His family had limited finances for diagnostics, so we sent them for a visit with our partner hospital @cityveterinarycare.
While some diagnostics were necessary, it was a long talk with his family that finally gave us the answer.
Nino’s lethargy, excessive vomiting, and anemia was the result of him licking medicinal steroid cream off of one of the kids living in the house. Thank you to their vet team for taking the time to do this instead of doing unnecessary testing and asking Nino’s family all the right questions.
We’ll see Nino again soon..since he bought himself a one way ticket to Neuterville!
